You can expect me to treat you or your loved ones with compassion, dignity and respect at all times, just as I would expect from a person coming into my home to provide care and support to my own family.
For your reassurance I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check.
I offer a free consultation where we can get to know each other before we commit to working together, families are very welcome to join in.
Who am I
Hi, my name is Michelle, owner and founder of Heart of Gold home help.
I wanted to find a way to bring my likes and hobbies, along with previous career experience together in order to provide that little extra support we all need sometimes.
I love spending time with my family, from the youngest to the oldest(some of whom have varying disabilities), giving me personal experience in the extra care, compassion and sensitivity that they need. I love cooking and baking, taking walks through our beautiful countryside and tending to my garden and allotment.
I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of roles over the years; including, working with a large domiciliary care agency, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges and in financial administration, being responsible for the finances of the organisation.
For the past 11 years, I have been dedicated to working in social care with vulnerable adults, most recently with those transitioning back home after a hospital stay and seeking high quality home-based care.
Now with a smile on my face, a heart filled with kindness, understanding and compassion I want to bring this all together providing a personalised “help at home” service that can support a wide range of needs. Whether that’s help around the house and garden, venturing out, or just providing some company having a natter over a cup of tea and biscuits, I’d love to hear from you.
